1. Definitions
- “We”, “us”, “our”: Paragliding is Fun.
- “You”, “customer”, “participant”: Any person using our website, booking lessons/courses, or purchasing products.
- “Services”: Paragliding lessons, courses, events, gear sales, and any other activities offered by Paragliding is Fun.
- “Products”: Any physical goods available in our shop, including paragliding equipment.
2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to:
- Use of our website paraglidingisfun.com
- Participation in paragliding lessons, courses, or events
- Purchases made via our online shop or in person
- Any communication, signup forms, and bookings
By using our website or purchasing/booking services, you agree to these Terms.
3. Eligibility
To participate in any paragliding activity, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or have written parental consent
- Be in good physical & mental health and able to safely perform paragliding activities
- Follow all instructor guidelines, rules, and safety instructions
We may refuse participation if we believe safety cannot be guaranteed.
4. Courses, Lessons & Events
4.1 Booking
A booking is confirmed once payment is received and you’ve had confirmation from our side.
4.2 Requirements
Participants must:
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear
- Disclose relevant medical conditions to instructors
- Follow all safety procedures
4.3 Weather Conditions
Paragliding is weather-dependent.
We may:
- Cancel
- Reschedule
- Modify
a lesson or course due to unsafe weather conditions. No compensation is provided beyond rescheduling.
4.4 Liability
Paragliding involves inherent risks.
We are not liable for:
- Personal injury
- Damage to personal items
unless caused by our proven negligence.
Participants must follow all instructions to minimize risk.
4.5 Insurance
We strongly recommend participants have personal accident and travel insurance covering adventure sports.
5. Price & Payment
5.1 Prices
All prices are listed in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.
5.2 Payment Methods
We accept:
- Mollie payment methods (iDEAL, credit card, etc.)
- Other methods displayed at checkout
5.3 Non-Payment
We may cancel bookings if payment is not completed.
6. Shop Orders (Products)
6.1 Availability
All products are subject to availability. We may cancel orders if stock is unavailable.
6.2 Shipping
Estimated shipping times are provided at checkout. Delivery delays do not constitute grounds for compensation.
6.3 Returns & Refunds
Consumers within the EU have a 14-day return right, except for:
- Used safety equipment (harnesses, reserves, helmets, etc.)
- Custom or special-order items
Returned products must be unused and in original condition.
7. Cancellations & Refunds (Courses/Events)
7.1 Customer Cancellation
- Cancellation 24> hours before the lesson: Full refund.
- Cancellation 24< hours before the lesson: We don’t offer refunds. Only in special circumstances. For this contact us.
7.2 Company Cancellation
If we cancel due to weather or safety:
- You may reschedule
- Refunds are at our discretion except where required by law.
8. Liability & Disclaimer
8.1 Website Use
We provide the website “as-is”.
We do not guarantee:
- 24/7 availability
- Error-free functionality
- Completeness of information
8.2 Paragliding Activities
Participation is at your own risk.
We are not liable for:
- Injuries or death
- Accidents
- Loss of property
- Damages caused by non-compliance with instructions
Unless there’s prove of gross negligence.
8.3 Usage of school equipment
During lessons you are able to use equipment from the school.
From the moment you receive school equipment till you return it’s your responsibility. If there’s any damages on it besides normal wear & tear you will be held liable and sent and invoice of our costs to repair it + loss of value.
