Description
Have you done a lot of groundhandling in preparation for soaring. But just haven’t been able to make that last step into the air?
This package is for you.
How it works
Since you can already groundhandle well we will immediately start by working on getting you airborne.
During the intense lessons we will focus on making sure you have all the information necessary to make your first flights safely.
- Take off techniques
- Flying techniques
- Landings techniques
- How to stay safe & recognize dangerous situations
- Airlaw
- Basic weather
All this knowledge is also available for you to read on our online knowledge base.
At the same time we will have you start going up the dune and making your first hopps. With every hop we will start extending your flight.
After you’re comfortable taking off & flying straight we’ll start working on making turns.
And before you know it you’ll be actually flying and staying up!
After the Intense Lessons you will have the basic skills to take off, fly and land under supervision. You however lack the experience and airtime to safely make all the decisions yet.
This is where the Flight Club comes in. In Flight Club sessions you will fly in a slightly larger group(max 5) under supervision of an instructor.
Each session starts with a briefing talking about the flying site and the weather. After the briefing everyone will go fly by themselves while the instructor keeps a close eye on you.
With each session you will feel more confident in your flying and your decision making.
After this course you’ll be able to soar the Dutch dunes by yourself.
